The "Made in Kyiv" sign should become a symbol of high-quality products. About this Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said at the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Made in Kyiv". The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman also took part in the opening of the event.

"For the second time, we organize the exhibition "Made in Kyiv". We do our best to maintain production, realizing that it creates jobs and taxes to the city budget. This year the exhibition involved 160 companies and 40 research institutions from 10 districts of Kyiv", - said Vitaly Klitschko.

The mayor said that consumers should know the capital's brands and businesses - to get more opportunities to advertise their products.

"Let me give you some figures. Today in Kyiv operates 763 companies. It is more than 120 thousand workers. Tax revenues to the state budget from industrial companies increased by 30% and amounted to 25 billion UAH, and the budget of Kyiv - by 57.5% to 1.1 billion UAH. These figures show that the industrial complex develops dynamically"- said the mayor of Kyiv.

Vitali Klitschko and Volodymyr Hroysman examined a number of stands where they have been introduced the design and production of capital's companies. 

In comments to journalists, Kyiv Mayor said that in the first place must be the competitiveness of products.

"We want that brand" Made in Kyiv " to be high quality. Also good that today is a positive trend of development of enterprises, and our task that we implement - creating an environment that enterprises have developed and maintained this dynamic, "- said Vitaly Klitschko.

The exhibition "Made in Kyiv" attracted more than 160 industry manufacturers and 40 academic institutions in 10 districts of Kyiv. They represent the best samples of their products, new developments, technologies, and materials. Special displays represented by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the capital's science parks, the leading higher educational institutions of the city.
