The winner of the investment tender to attract investors to the project "Arrangement of the attraction of the cable car across the Dnipro River from the Friendship of Nations Arch to Trukhaniv Island" is LLC "Aktyvna krayina". This is stated in the order of the Kyiv City State Administration № 9 dated 11.01.2021.
The Department of Economics and Investments of the Kyiv City State Administration is instructed to conclude an appropriate investment agreement with the winner and the customer of the project - Communal enterprise for protection, maintenance, and operation of lands of the water fund of Kyiv "Pleso".
The territory of the attraction consists of two land plots - 0.02 ha (located near the Friendship of Nations Arch in the Pecherskyi district) and 0.05 ha (on the Trukhaniv Island in the Dniprovskyi district). The total estimated cost of equipping the investment object is UAH 3.6 million.
According to the Department of Economics and Investments, under the terms and conditions of the tender, the construction of capital structures on the territory of the investment facility is prohibited. Instead, they should install only prefabricated temporary structures, without foundations, without damaging natural objects located on the territory. In addition, the investor is obliged to ensure the technical possibility of dismantling all components of the attraction without damaging the territory and natural objects located on it.
"It is clear from the terms and conditions of the investment tender that the construction of the cable car attraction does not in any way concern the implementation of large-scale engineering and transport infrastructure construction project - cable car with public facilities along the route: Friendship of Nations Arch, Poshtova Square, Trukhaniv Island. Currently, this project is at the stage of resolving all property and legal issues, only after that the terms and conditions of the investment tender will be formed. In particular, the estimated period of construction", noted in the Department of Economics and Investments.
