On 17 and 18 November 2026, two online webinars will be held for Ukrainian companies, focusing on funding opportunities for research and innovation under the European Union’s ‘Horizon Europe’ programme.

The events are organised by the Ecosystem Connectors Berlin Kyiv project – a cross-border platform that promotes cooperation between the entrepreneurial and innovation ecosystems of Kyiv and Berlin. The sessions will be led by the international consultancy firm Zabala Innovation Consulting SA, which specialises in innovation strategies and securing funding for research and development.

Overview of the ‘Horizon Europe’ programme

Participants will learn about the structure, objectives and funding instruments of the ‘Horizon Europe’ programme, opportunities for international collaboration, and calls for proposals relevant to Ukrainian organisations scheduled for 2027.

How to prepare a competitive application

The webinar will focus on the practical aspects of participating in the ‘Horizon Europe’ programme. Participants will receive guidance on identifying relevant calls for proposals, forming international consortia, preparing project proposals, understanding the evaluation criteria and enhancing the competitiveness of their applications.
