Decentralization of the Central Heating Unit by the installation of individual heating units with the reconstruction of the boiler room into an office and commercial building

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The existing two-story central heating unit (CHU) provides heat, hot and cold water for 5 residential buildings at 6, 6-A, 8, 8-A, 8-B Staronavodnitskaya street. Сentral heating unit building with a total area of 727 sq. m belong to the municipal property of Kyiv. The first stage of the project provides the decentralization of CHU by the installation of individual heating units (IHU) in the basement of previously mentioned apartment buildings. The second stage - reconstruction of the building of CHU into an office and commercial building. A number of floors will be determined after the inspection of existing structures (expected after reconstruction - 5 floors). The estimated total area after the reconstruction is going to be 2,167 sq.m. Constructed engineering networks and installed equipment is expected to transfer to the municipal property of Kyiv. New premises will be owned by the investor. The municipal property area of the premises would not change its size.

APPROVAL AND PERMISSION

Appropriate departments:

- Department of urban planning and architecture of Kyiv City State Administration;

- Department of land resources of Kyiv City State Administration;

- Department of the communal property of Kyiv City State Administration;

Apartment buildings that are managed by entities (for construction IHU): State Enterprise «Ukrzhytloservis», Municipal Enterprise Housing Management «Pecherskzhytlo», State enterprise «ЕКО».

The building of Central Heating Unit is carried by Municipal Enterprise «Management Company housing service in Pecherskyi district»

Other subjects: JSC «Kyivenergo».
