The event is a new permanent communication platform that brings together local communities, foreign businesses, investors, international financial institutions, private foundations, representatives of diplomatic missions represented in Ukraine, and government officials. This was reported by the organisers of the EUCONLAW Group.

The key goal of the Congress is to bring together all stakeholders interested in creating equal conditions and transparent rules for attracting foreign capital, restoring Ukraine's sustainable economic potential, ensuring financial stability, increasing the competitiveness of regional businesses and preserving human capital.

The event also provides an opportunity to rent separate exhibition spaces for meetings with interested foreign investors, representatives of international financial institutions and diplomatic missions in Ukraine.

The first Foreign Investment Congress was held in Kyiv on 31 October 2024 and became an important event for strengthening economic partnership with foreign businesses and attracting investment to Ukraine.

The Congress brought together 110 participants from 20 countries. The event was attended by representatives of urban communities from 26 major cities of Ukraine, ambassadors, heads of economic departments of 14 embassies, representatives of international financial institutions, investors, representatives of 10 international business associations and government authorities. The event featured 34 speakers from 12 countries, including Ukraine, Germany, the United States, the Czech Republic, France, Brazil, India, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Poland, Latvia and Romania.
