On January 23, 2017, with the participation of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman, a seminar was held on the development of investment and export potential of the regions, on "Economic development of regions: strategy and tools for attracting investment and increasing export potential."

The event was also attended by the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economic Development and Trade Stepan Kubiv, First Deputy Minister of Finance - Government Commissioner for Investment Oksana Markarova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade - Trade Representative of Ukraine Natalia Mykolska, and also Mariana Kaganyak - Head of the Export Promotion Office, and Danylo Bilak - Director of the Investment Promotion Office.

The seminar discussed ways to intensify investment activities, develop export potential, introduce effective mechanisms to attract investment and support exports, establish an effective dialogue with representatives of the regions, identify priority areas for cooperation in 2017.
