An important annual event in the economic life of the capital will take place on September 10, 2021 - the Kyiv Investment Forum. The event will be dedicated to the smart development of the Kyiv region and its creative transformation. The mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko reported about it.

He also noted that Kyiv has focused on implementing transformations that will make the city more technological, environmentally friendly and resilient to possible future challenges.

"The COVID-19 pandemic has been a great challenge for the whole world. The new reality has forced the city authorities to rethink key and promising areas to unlock the potential of the capital. We see prospects for further smart development of the Kyiv region and its investment-attractive areas - creative industries, information and communication technologies and pharmaceuticals. These branches of the city economy should become the basis for further economic and social development of the capital", - said Vitaliy Klitschko.

Representatives of Kyiv city authorities and international experts will meet at the Kyiv Investment Forum this year at the Convention Center Parkovy. The topic of discussion will be the municipal challenges exacerbated by COVID-19, the global experience of overcoming the economic consequences caused by the pandemic, and the ways of development of the capital region.

The forum will include a keynote session on new opportunities for investment-attractive industries, as well as four discussion panels: "Tools for attracting investment in Greater Kyiv projects", "Adapting to climate change: rapid urban development and environmental protection", "Sustainable community health" and "Creative transformation: codes of a new reality". The event will continue the public talk dedicated to attracting investment in the development of the metropolis.

Also throughout the forum, the capital's companies will present to investors the potential of the capital region in the field of healthcare, food industry, consumer goods production, logistics, high technology, public administration, entertainment industry, as well as chemical and light industry.
