In June 2023, the Ukrainian side started the procedure of joining the Interreg Europe program, financed by the European Union, which is aimed at improving the management of cooperation through strengthening the capacity of subjects, improving existing tools, forming joint solutions to counter challenges in the implementation of the European Union's cohesion policy. The budget of the Program is 379 million euros. Cooperation between partners takes place within the framework of the following cohesion policy goals: - Smarter Europe (innovative potential, competitiveness of small and medium-sized businesses, digitalization); - Greener Europe (energy efficiency, smart energy systems, climate change, water management, circular economy, nature and biodiversity, zero-carbon urban mobility); - A more social Europe (labor markets, health care, culture and tourism, education, integration of citizens of third countries); - A more connected Europe (sustainable trans-European transport networks (TEN-T), sustainable mobility); - Europe is closer to citizens (integrated development of cities and territories outside settlements). November 24, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. The Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, together with the Program Management Body, organizes an information day in an online format with the aim of popularizing the possibilities of the Program and promoting the active participation of Ukrainian partners.
