2018
In 2018, Ukraine has risen to the 71st position in the annual DOING BUSINESS World Bank rating with a global index of 68.25. Last year, Ukraine was the 76th with a rate of 67.31 for the quality of doing business.
The rating is determined by measuring aggregate figures in 10 subjects: starting a business, dealing with construction permits, getting electricity, registering property, getting credit, protecting minority investors, paying taxes, trading across borders, enforcing contracts, resolving insolvency. Each topic consists of several indicators and has an equal impact on the overall ranking of the country.
Economies are ranked on their ease of doing business, from 1–190. A high ease of doing business ranking means the regulatory environment is more conducive to the starting and operation of a local firm.
