Investment projects presented by Kyiv at the most influential world real estate forum MIPIM-2017 in Cannes have attracted foreign investors. This was announced by Oleg Svitlychny, Deputy Director of the Department of Economics for Investments of the Kyiv City State Administration, during a press conference on March 23.

- This year at the exhibition Kyiv presented infrastructural, transport, industrial and recreational projects of the city. The largest of them is the industrial park "Kyiv Business Harbor", the ski complex "Pirogovo", an amusement park in the capital's Hydropark, and the concept of development of recreational infrastructure on Trukhanov Island.

Within the framework of MIPIM, several obvious trends for the real estate market have been outlined.

According to the results of the analysis conducted by the partner companies of the Kyiv stand, investors are showing interest in Ukraine and Kyiv. This is due to the fact that the Ukrainian real estate market is more profitable than in developed European countries: investing in European projects, investors can expect a profit of 4-8% per annum, while this figure for some projects in Ukraine exceeds 30%.

This will be a decisive factor for the growth of the investment attractiveness of the real estate market of Ukraine, as international investors have begun to seek more profitable markets.

The world real estate market has stopped focusing on building only square meters. The priority is to invest in a comfortable living space. That is why the recreational projects presented by Kyiv attracted the attention of investors.

This gives good reason to believe that the Ukrainian real estate market has considerable chances to attract serious players in the field of development.
