Japanese companies are looking for partners in Ukraine to create a joint business

The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine together with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) invite enterprises to participate in the project “Green recovery of Ukraine's industry through technology transfer and creation of new enterprises together with private companies in Japan”.

This project, funded by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI) and implemented by UNIDO, is part of the Green Industrial Recovery Program for Ukraine 2024-2028.

The project is aimed at supporting the environmental development of Ukraine's industry through the introduction of modern technologies and cooperation with Japanese companies. Within the framework of this project, potential partners in Ukraine for Japanese companies are being sought.

In order to support the search, a survey is conducted to determine interest in the following technology offerings from Japanese companies:

• Autonomous mobile refrigerated warehouses (trailers) on solar panels with the ability to adjust the temperature from -25°C to +15°C. This technology is expected to be useful for small and medium-sized agricultural, fishery and food producers, as well as retailers, ensuring flexible storage and freshness of products in the logistics chain.
• Banking infrastructure with the highest level of cybersecurity, which allows for real-time settlement of digital transactions. Such technology will contribute to the modernization of the Ukrainian banking sector by providing secure solutions for digital payments.
• Bio-shell CaO technology for a water treatment system that uses CaO is made from scallop shell powder. This compact purification system is able to meet the drinking water needs thanks to an efficient purification process.
