Kyiv City Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Partnership with Rotary Club Madrid International Passport (Spain). The agreement opens up new opportunities for Kyiv entrepreneurs in the Spanish market and strengthens international cooperation between Kyiv and Madrid. This was reported by the Department.

"This agreement is an important step in building international bridges for Kyiv. It not only opens up the Spanish market for our entrepreneurs, but also strengthens humanitarian support, especially for children. We are convinced that such cooperation will bring real results: export growth, new investments and stronger ties between Kyiv and Madrid. Kyiv highly values partners who are ready for constructive interaction based on mutual respect and common goals," said Volodymyr Kostikov, Director of Kyiv City Department of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development.

The memorandum defines the framework for cooperation between the parties with the aim of assisting Kyiv-based enterprises and organisations in establishing international contacts, promoting their products and services on the Spanish market, and attracting them to participate in humanitarian programmes.

Key objectives include finding partners and investors, creating joint production, innovation and technology projects between Ukrainian and Spanish companies, and expanding Kyiv's export potential. In addition, coordinating humanitarian aid, particularly for children, including organising safe temporary accommodation for Ukrainian children in Spain during the winter season.

This cooperation is of strategic importance for Kyiv, as it contributes to the economic recovery of the capital in the face of wartime challenges, strengthens the competitiveness of the capital's businesses at the European level, and opens up access to new markets. For Kyiv entrepreneurs, these are real prospects: from promoting goods and services in Spain to participating in joint projects that can bring investment, technological innovation and stable business ties.
