​In 2018 more than 700 million UAH of domestic investments were attracted into the development of the capital

In 2018 more than UAH 700 million of domestic investments were attracted to the development of the capital, due to which several infrastructure projects in social and sports fields are implemented in Kyiv. Thus, in 2018 the Department of Economics and Investments, based on the results of the competitions, concluded 30 contracts of total amount UAH 729.3 million. By the way, within the framework of cooperation between city authorities and entrepreneurs, educational establishments, public transport stops will be built, and sports facilities in parks will be installed. This was reported by Nataliia Melnyk, the Director of the Department of Economics and Investments.

According to her, now on the results of previously concluded investment agreements in Kyiv, a football field has already been arranged on the territory of Lyceum "Goloseevsky" number 241, dwelling houses and the medical center on the street Zoological are being built.

"Taking into account the needs of the city, a package of investment proposals has already been developed, which includes more than 50 projects in the field of information and communication technologies, housing construction, medical, preschool, and general educational institutions and recreation facilities. At the moment, the documentation is being prepared for investment contests in 2019",  said Nataliia Melnyk.

Next year, the implementation of activities under the public-private partnership projects is also being planned. In particular, the road safety system in automatic mode is to be implemented. In addition, within the framework of an advisory service agreement with the International Finance Corporation, the project on the reorganization of the public hospital infrastructure will be initiated.
