The organizers of the event anticipate that it will become an important informational and conceptual component of the issues of participation of civil society organizations in the development and implementation of projects and initiatives aimed at the comprehensive development of the city of Kyiv.

The purpose of the Forum is primarily to promote dialogue between local authorities and civil society, to develop new models of partnership between NGOs and government institutions, as well as to make clear recommendations for public involvement in the formation and implementation of urban policy in various areas of development.

As there have been no such significant public events at the city level so far, we hope that the Forum will have a positive resonance and gain the status of a traditional annual top event among the active public of the capital.

OSCE Project Coordinator in Ukraine, representatives of the USAID/ENGAGE projects in Ukraine, GIZ Office in Ukraine, the EU Delegation to Ukraine, ICO "East Europe Foundation" have expressed interest in participating in the Forum.

The preparation of the event is provided by the Organizing Committee with the participation of representatives of active CSOs with many years of positive experience in holding national and regional forums of civil society organizations.
