Kyiv City Council deputies approved the demolition of the building at 15-A Ihor Shamo Boulevard, which is in a critical condition and it belongs to the communal property of the territorial community of Kyiv. This decision is the principal consent of the Kyiv City Council to prepare for the implementation of the project for the construction of a medical institution at the expense of the investor.

Currently, the building is under the operational management of the municipal non-profit enterprise "Center for Primary Health Care "Rusanivka" of the Dniprovskyi district of Kyiv". The premises has been in operation since 1965 without major repairs and has not been operational since 2005. Currently, it is in a critical condition.

According to the independent assessment of the value of the real estate, the main structural elements are unfit for useful use - wear is 64%, so the specified object is recommended for demolition.

"According to the appropriate decision on the demolition of the communal property of Kyiv, the demolition is possible only after determining the winner of the investment tender, concluding an investment agreement with an Investor and compensation by the Investor for the value of the object to be demolished", - emphasized Natalia Melnyk - Director of the Department of Economy and Investment of the Kyiv City State Administration during her speech.

The amount of compensation for the cost of the building will be UAH 3.4 million, which will be reimbursed by the investor after the investment tender.
