Finding ways that will allow Kyiv to be more technological, environmentally friendly and more resilient to future risks will be the main topic of the Kyiv Investment Forum. This was reported in the Department of Economy and Investment of the Kyiv City State Administration, which is the organizer of the event.
“Creative transformation of a big city is a matter of time. The COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine restrictions have exacerbated some of the city's problems. Among them - insufficient access to medical and educational institutions, imperfect public transport infrastructure, affordable housing and recreational facilities. Operating in the conditions of COVID-reality requires a rethinking of how life is organized in the capital, ”the Department notes.
The forum will include the main session, discussion panels and a public talk with the participation of representatives of Kyiv city authorities and international experts. The participants focus on the urban challenges exacerbated during COVID-19, the ways of development of Greater Kyiv and the world experience of overcoming the economic consequences of the pandemic.
The participants of the event will pay special attention to finding new opportunities for investment-attractive sectors of the city's economy.
According to the organizers, the global coronavirus pandemic continues, and the world is still in COVID-reality with its limitations that affect all spheres of life, including Kyiv.
"At the Investment Forum of the city of Kyiv-2021, together with world experts, we will rethink the city's development policy to find ways to maximize the potential of the capital through creative transformation," the Department said.
This year the event will take place on September 10, 2021.
