60% of all investments in Ukraine in the last three years were made precisely in the economy of Kyiv. This was stated by the mayor of the capital Vitali Klitschko in an interview with the publication DATA.ua on the results of the international exhibition MIPIM-2018. It was presented at the stand of the capital and a number of projects, to which Vitali Klitschko invited foreign investors to participate. At the same time, as the mayor of Kyiv noted, he personally guarantees the protection of investments.

"There is a curiosity of investors in Kyiv. I am very glad that 60% of investments in Ukraine in the last three years "came" in Kyiv. I always imagine myself a personal defender for a foreign business who is investing in Kyiv. Every major investor has my personal contacts. And if necessary - can turn to me for help, - said Vitali Klitschko. - Today, in the capital, we do our best to create a favorable investment climate. Because everyone understands: without investment, the city will not be developed. Here, at MIPIM, my mission is to present Kyiv opportunities, tell about our city and interest investors, while showing that we are reliable partners", - said the mayor of Kyiv.

Also, Vitali Klitschko said that at MIPIM-2018 he presented the projects that have already been successfully implemented in the capital. First of all - Smart City system. Within the framework of which, in particular, the project "Electronic budget of the city" was implemented, which allows tracking all receipts and expenses of the capital budget. The electronic procurement and petition systems, the Safe City system is already in operation, and the E-health project has begun.

"We also work with Google to develop tourist destinations in Kyiv. And having a smartphone you can get all the necessary information, - said the mayor. - There are a lot of directions and our task is to develop them dynamically, to introduce more technologies into the city management system in order to ensure the comfort of its inhabitants", - said Vitali Klitschko.

He reminded that iHub was created in the capital with the support of Norwegians. It's a modern hub, where talented technology developers can work in a variety of areas. The Smart City Hub was also opened in the capital.

Recall that the international real estate exhibition MIPIM-2018 took place in Cannes (France) from March 13 to March 16. This year the conference was attended by 26 thousand participants from 100 countries in the world. During the conference, the mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko presented projects that foreign investors can join in realization. In particular, this is the construction of a cable car from the Arch of Friendship of Peoples to Trukhanov Island. Construction of a ski resort for active all-season recreation "Pirogovo". Construction of a medical center and a private educational institution. And also - the project of the industrial park "Kyiv business harbor".
