Such an assessment of its development, the Ukrainian capital received in the competition "fDi Location Awards", which conducts a specialized magazine Foreign Direct Investment (published by Financial Times). The competition defines the most successful cities of the world each year from the point of view of investment attractiveness and holds the award ceremony at the MIPIM international property fair in Cannes.

Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko received the award in Cannes.

He also presented at the MIPIM the stand of Kyiv and investment projects, to which the Ukrainian capital offers to join the foreign business.

"Today we represent Ukraine and its capital here. As the Mayor of Kyiv, I want to note that our city is developing dynamically today, showing an example of transformations throughout the country. Kyiv is very attractive and promising for world investors. And the evidence of this is that over the past few years, 60 percent of all investments in Ukraine come to Kyiv, which the leading rating agencies have raised the position of Kyiv. And attracting investment today is one of our priorities. That the capital will develop, become more beautiful and more comfortable", - said the Mayor of Kyiv.

This year's exhibition of real estate has gathered 26 thousand participants from 100 countries of the world. The event will be visited by almost 6,000 international investors and nearly 4,000 top executives of the most influential companies from all sectors of international real estate.

This year's theme of the exhibition was the development of the real estate industry in the next 30 years under the influence of new trends in its durability.

MIPIM is a unique international platform for getting acquainted with new development projects for territories, urban areas, and tourism, meetings with potential partners for attracting investment.
