The Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko has signed an agreement between Kyiv City State Administration and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) to provide advisory services in the field of transport infrastructure development in Kyiv.

Vitaliy Klitschko also said: «It is very important for us to create an optimal transport model that can improve the communication between different districts of the capital. And in this direction, we are glad to cooperate and use the experience of our partners, the world experience, in order to make the most of the opportunities that are available in our city. We are talking about the TRT system (Troyeschyna Rapid Transit)».

Specialists of the World Bank have developed recommendations for improving the transport system of Kyiv. City authorities and IFC representatives are ready to work out a feasibility study for a detailed plan of the high-speed corridor on Troyeschyna, to carry out a technical, financial and economic assessment of the options for implementing the "Platform of Cities of Europe and Central Asia" project.

As a result, the International Finance Corporation will provide KSCA with a report on the expediency of the Troyeschinsky Express Transport Corridor, which will include both technological alternatives and infrastructure solutions, financial characteristics, environmental and social issues, operational and management plans.
