In accordance with the order of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv city state administration) № 526 dated March 29, 2018 "On the organization and holding of the Kyiv Investment Forum" in the autumn of 2018.

The forum will help Kyiv authorities and entrepreneurs to find and attract private domestic and foreign investments to create brand new manufactures, to construct the objects, which will promote the further social and economic development of the capital.

It is planned that innovations will be the key topic of the Kyiv Investment Forum, which will be held in September-November 2018.

The forum will bring together representatives of the authorities, financial sector leaders, IT industry, and leading experts for a professional discussion of the use of innovative technologies, world trends in the fintech industry, as well as a demonstration of new solutions and opportunities.

A key audience is investors of all types (business angels, corporate ventures, venture funds, representatives of incubators and accelerators, international and local companies, donor organizations); authors of innovative projects (startups, entrepreneurs, authors of technical and applied scientific developments, specialized NGOs) and an active audience that is interested in the development of the city of Kyiv.

The format of the Kyiv Investment Forum 2018 program overview provides the carrying out of specific workshops for the investors, fairs for incubators and accelerators, and project presentations (pitching sessions).

Preliminary possible discussion topics:

- Intelligent solutions for the city: energy, transport, and logistics, resource efficiency;

- Solutions in the field of consumption: FMCG, tourism, finance and credit, creative industry;

- The solution in the field of health, including pharmacology, biotechnology, tissue regeneration;

- Theoretical and Applied Science;

- Agro-innovations;

- Military-industrial complexes;

- IT industry (system integrators, software development services).

The forum, which will take place in Kyiv for the third year in a row, became one of the largest investment events of the country. In 2017, there were gathered more than 600 participants from 20 countries and were presented more than 40 investment projects in total amounting to over 9 billion UAH.
