Preparations for the investment competition for the implementation of the project "Construction of road infrastructure for the functioning of the tourist network of electric car hire" has begun.

The competition is being prepared by the Department of Economics and Investment of the executive body of the Kyiv City Council (Kyiv City State Administration) in accordance with the Regulation on the procedure for conducting investment contests for the construction, reconstruction, restoration, etc. of residential and non-residential objects, unfinished construction, engineering and transport infrastructure of the city of Kyiv, approved by the decision of the Kyiv City Council dated May 24, 2007 No. 528/1189, and the order of the Kyiv city state administration dated March 26, 2018, No. 493 "On conducting a competition for attracting an investor to the project" Construction of road infrastructure to ensure the functioning of the tourist network of rental of electric cars ".

According to the order of the Kyiv City State Administration, the Kyivtransparkservis municipal enterprise was designated as the customer of the project, and the customer of the preparatory (pre-investment) works for conducting the investment contest - the municipal enterprise "Kyiv Investment Agency", which should develop and agree indicative technical and economic indicators and possible pre-project proposals.

In particular, the road infrastructure for the tourist network of rental of electric cars is proposed to arrange for:

Conduct an investment competition in the established manner assigned to a permanent competitive commission on the attraction of investors to finance the construction, reconstruction, restoration, etc. of residential and non-residential objects, unfinished construction, engineering, and transport infrastructure of Kyiv.

The implementation of the project, in turn, will promote the development of infrastructure for the functioning in the city of Kyiv of an environmentally friendly type of transport - electric cars. The project is part of a major renovation of urban public transport and its infrastructure, implementing the city within the framework of the Kyiv City Development Strategy 2025. Such dynamics will enhance the image of an ecologically oriented city.
