The new building of the Oberig clinic is an example of successful cooperation between a private investor and the city authorities. The mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko wrote about this on his Facebook page in a post to a video about a visit to a medical institution.

"Today I visited the new building of the Oberig clinic, which was built in the capital as part of successful cooperation between a private investor and the city authorities. Thanks to the implementation of this investment project, a modern medical institution has appeared in Kyiv, where not only Kyivites but also patients from all over the world can receive medical care”, - Vitali Klitschko wrote.

According to the mayor of Kyiv, the investor has invested almost UAH 1 billion in the project. Of these - UAH 13.6 million for the development of the city - improvement of the material and technical base of medical institutions in Kyiv, repairs of departments, purchase of medical furniture and equipment.

This year alone, Oberig will pay a personal income tax of over UAH 60 million. And the implementation of the project has created about 500 new jobs.

"I looked in what conditions and on what equipment doctors work. And pleasantly surprised! The clinic has the most modern equipment for radiation therapy, which allows for the accuracy of irradiation. Also, there is equipment for the early detection of cancer and surgery. The clinic has already performed the eighth liver transplantation and is going to transplant a kidney", - the mayor said.

What is important - in the new building of the clinic, there is a department for the treatment of patients with coronavirus with 20 places. And soon they plan to equip another such branch.

"Kyiv is a city that provides many opportunities for business according to simple and transparent rules. And the implementation of the investment project of the Oberig clinic is an example. We invite active and progressive entrepreneurs to cooperate. To make Kyiv the most comfortable and attractive European city to live and work in!”, - Vitali Klitschko emphasized.

According to him, several more investment projects in the medical sphere are currently being prepared for the investment tender procedure. In particular, the construction of medical facilities in Pecherskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Shevchenkivskyi districts of the city.
