On the 11th of April, 2018, the Ukrainian-Lebanese Business Forum will be held at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (33, Velyka Zhytomyrska Str., Conference Hall "Coliseum", 4th floor). The event provides the participation of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Ukraine in the Republic of Lebanon I. Ostash and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon to Ukraine Ali Daher.

The main topics of the plenary section are the following sectors of cooperation: agro-industrial complex, small and medium enterprises, infrastructure, etc.

The Lebanese side has shown an interest in increasing the trade, in particular, due to increased exports of grain crops, vegetable oils, flour from Ukraine, and citrus fruits, bananas and winemaking products from Lebanon. It was also emphasized that Lebanon can be considered by Ukraine as a trade and economic hub, through which it is possible to export products to other countries of the Middle East.

The program of the event provides a plenary part which will highlight the immediate prospects and priorities of the Ukrainian-Lebanese economic cooperation, as well as bilateral B2B meetings between companies.
