Vitaliy Klitschko in Tel Aviv signed a Memorandum on cooperation in implementing the latest technology in cities

Mayor of Kyiv, Chairman of the Association of Ukrainian Cities, Vitaliy Klitschko took part in the first Israeli-Ukrainian municipal summit - The Israeli Ukrainian Muni Summit 2019 - and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Association of Ukrainian Cities and the Industrial-Innovation Chamber of Israel-Ukraine, as well as on cooperation between the AUC and the Federation of Local Authorities of Israel.

The mayors and delegations of the Association member-cities: Dnipro, Kharkiv, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Rivne, Vinnytsia, Mariupol, Obukhiv, Vyshneve took part in the summit, which was held within the framework of the technological exhibition Muni-Expo "Global solutions for smart cities and municipal security".

"In the modern world, the magnitude and number of threats facing cities are constantly increasing. Therefore, local self-government bodies should make maximum efforts and involve all available resources and up-to-date solutions. I hope that the current summit will become a platform for finding innovative solutions to security issues in our cities and to attract Israeli investors to technological projects in Kyiv, Ukraine", - said Vitaliy Klitschko at the opening of the summit.

Also in Tel Aviv, Vitaliy Klitschko met with executives of companies that embody technological solutions for municipal governance. In particular, he became acquainted in detail with developments of an Israeli company, with which Kyiv has already been negotiating on cooperation. It is about an implementation of a single platform in the capital of Ukraine for responding to the appeal of Kyiv residents to problems in various spheres - from housing and communal services to medical care, rescue, and other services of the city.
